Stroll through Stoney Creek’s “Quilted Hearts Garden” beginning with the February 2008 issue. This exquisite design can be stitched over a patterned 18 ct. antique white/ivory Fireside afghan that is 7 blocks wide by 7 blocks long (you’ll have to trim off one row of width, since the afghan comes 9 blocks wide). The rectangular blocks are 93 stitches wide x 113 stitches high (which equals a stitching area approximately 5 1/4”w x 6 1/4”h). Otherwise, you can stitch it as a large single design on 28 ct. opalescent white Lugana (651w x 791h stitches).
